Winemaking Notes
The 2020 vintage in France’s Loire Valley is the latest in a string of great vintages in the region. A dry, chilly spring was followed by a hot, dry summer, allowing the vines to develop slowly through the spring with ample ripening time in the following months. Wines from 2020 show distinct freshness and brightness, balanced by richness and concentration from the summer heat.
A wine that encompasses freshness from start to finish, the 2020 Olema Sauvignon Blanc shows great aromatics of bright tropical fruit and green apple. On the palate, pineapple and citrus flavors carry through a mouth-tingling acidity laced with wintergreen and spearmint that carries through the long, zippy finish.

Reviews
James Suckling
“Aromas of grapefruit zest, fresh pear, green papaya and flint. It’s medium-bodied with bright, tangy acidity and a gently waxy texture. Fresh finish. Drink now. Screw cap.”
